This iconic photo of boys on the balcony at Craig-y-nos in the 1940s has suddenly got a new lease of life- again!
Students from Stirling
University Film and Media Department are
using it in their crowdsourcing campaign to raise money to make a documentary
about a children’s TB sanatorium.
So far they have raised £780 of their £1,000 target
The students will be travelling
down to Craig-y-nos in the Swansea Vallaey to film in just over a week’s time, and I have suggested
they wrap up warm because it will be cold.
A small group of patients
have agreed to be interviewed. And, of
course, there is the small matter of the ghosts…particularly Adelina Patti.
Oh yes, I will be there too.
